My Story

In my early years, I would often be on hunting and fishing trips. These experiences instilled in me a love for the outdoors and a desire to be self-sufficient. As I grew older, my passion for hunting and fishing only grew stronger.

I met Jo Harvey and we quickly bonded over our shared love for the outdoors and self-sufficiency. We soon began to plan our own fishing trips, and we started to experiment with being self-sufficient in our backyard.

Over time we expanded our fishing trips to other parts of New Zealand. We learned how to fish sustainably, respecting the environment and the animals we pursued.

As we continued to explore the outdoors and live a self-sufficient lifestyle, we realized that we wanted to share our experiences with others. 

Today, Jo and I continue to live our passion for the outdoors and self-sufficiency. We have a growing community of like-minded individuals who share our values and are eager to learn from our experiences. For us, there's nothing more rewarding than being able to provide for ourselves and our loved ones while also respecting and preserving the natural world around us.
